The technique or method uses a rice bowl or similar sized bowl. Disconnect the battery as quick as possible. Remove any memory sticks, put enough rice into a bowl or container and bury the camera inside it. Make sure the camera is completely covered in the bowl.
Wait for the moisture to drain out. This might take few nights or up to a week.
